The Pet Food Sector Sets Higher Export Targets at Pet İzmir 2026

The 9th International İzmir Pet Products, Materials and Accessories Suppliers Fair (Pet İzmir 2026), one of the region’s most significant gatherings for the pet products sector, opened its doors to visitors at Fuarizmir. The opening of the four-day event was marked by an address delivered by Muhammet Öztürk, Chairman of EIB Cereals. During the opening ceremony, the strategic importance of pet food exports—one of Türkiye’s rapidly growing sectors in recent years—and its growth potential in global markets were highlighted. In his speech, Chairman Öztürk drew attention to the momentum of the pet food sector both on a global scale and within Türkiye’s exports, emphasising the high value-added nature of production in this field.
