TİM Delegates Workshop Held in Antalya

The TİM Delegates Workshop, traditionally organised each year by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), the umbrella organisation for over 180,000 exporters in Türkiye, was held in Antalya between 31 October and 2 November. Hosted by TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe, the programme was attended by Özgür Volkan Ağar, Deputy Minister of Trade, TİM delegates and exporters from all over Türkiye. Under the motto ‘Our Business is Production, Our Strength is Export,’ the workshop comprehensively addressed the current dynamics of exports, the sectors' targets for the coming period, policy topics aimed at increasing global competitiveness, and strategic priorities. Throughout the programme, the structural problems faced by exporters and the sectoral opportunities emerging in the new period were discussed.

The workshop was attended by Kazım Taycı, Chairman of İHBİR, and Muhammet Öztürk, Chairman of EİB Cereals, as well as members of the Management and Supervisory Boards of our Unions representing the sector.

During the ‘Delegates Ask’ session organised as part of the programme, the needs, expectations and proposals of the sectors were shared through direct contact with TİM and Ministry representatives. The workshop provided an important platform for consultation, strengthening the collective wisdom of the export community and shedding light on the period ahead.
