A New Term at the Sector Board: Strategic Review in Gaziantep

Following the completion of the Exporters' Associations' elective ordinary general assemblies, the TİM Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Sector Board held its first meeting of the new term in Gaziantep. Convening at the Southeastern Anatolian Exporters' Associations (GAİB) Service Building, board members addressed the strategic steps that will shape the sector's future. In the election held during the meeting, Nihat Uysallı, Vice Chairman of the Board of the Central Anatolian Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters' Association, was appointed Chairman of the Sector Board. The Vice Chairmanships were assumed by Celal Kadooğlu, Chairman of the Board of the Southeastern Anatolian Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters' Association, and Kazım Taycı, Chairman of the Board of the Istanbul Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters' Association. At the first meeting, the new administration underlined its determination to carry Türkiye's global success in food exports further forward, while export targets for the new term and the projects planned for implementation were reviewed in detail. Preserving Türkiye's reliable and stabilizing role in the global food supply chain, making its production capacity sustainable, and expanding the export network through new-generation marketing activities were set as the Sector Board's priority road map for the coming term.
