GAİB Cereals Completes Preparations Ahead of the China Trade Delegation

Preliminary delegation visits carried out in preparation for the sectoral trade delegation programme to be organized by the Southeast Anatolian Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters' Association in the Chinese cities of Shanghai and Guangzhou from 26 to 31 July 2026 have been successfully completed. Board Member Batuhan Memiş and GAİB Deputy Secretary General Ahmet Şahbudak took part in the visits. During these preliminary contacts, aimed at increasing the share of Turkish food products in the high-potential Far East market, meetings were held with our Consulates General and Commercial Attaché Offices in Shanghai and Guangzhou, private sector representatives, chambers of commerce, relevant institutions, major supermarket chains and importing companies. These contacts, which provided first-hand observation of current sectoral dynamics, included the sharing of comprehensive information on the Turkish food sector and its export products, and potential buyers were invited to the main delegation programme to be held in July.
