İHBİR Holds an Ashura Day Event

For centuries a symbol of unity, solidarity, sharing and abundance, ashura is not merely a special dessert but also an important vehicle of our deep-rooted culture. At the Ashura Day event traditionally organized by İHBİR, Board Member Mehmet Taş came together with the staff working at the Foreign Trade Complex and served ashura. Reflecting the abundance of Anatolia, the ashura — prepared by carefully combining wheat, beans, chickpeas, apricots and other cherished ingredients — drew considerable interest from those attending.
