İHBİR Latin American Countries Sectoral Trade Delegation Held in Colombia

Organised by İHBİR, the Latin American Countries Sectoral Trade Delegation programme was held on 12-13 November 2025 at the Hilton Bogota Hotel in Bogota, the capital of Colombia. The programme commenced with opening speeches by Beste Pehlivan Sun, Turkish Ambassador to Bogota, Muhammet Hartavi, Turkish Commercial Counsellor in Bogota, and İsmail Gül, İHBİR Board Member. İHBİR Board Members Sabahattin Fidan and Mehmet Taş also participated in the delegation programme. During the two-day programme, Turkish companies held intensive B2B business meetings with buyer companies from Colombia, Panama, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador and Chile. The meetings focused on trade opportunities for Turkish confectionery, as well as cereals, pulses and oilseeds, and laid the foundations for new business partnerships. On the second day of the delegation, İHBİR Board Members presented participation certificates to the companies participating in the programme and wished them continued success in their export activities. The programme, organised by İHBİR, aims to increase the effectiveness of participating companies in the Latin American market and contribute to Türkiye's food exports.
