İHBİR Organizes National Participation in Colombia

Alimentec – Anuga Select Colombia 2026, one of the key meeting points of the Latin American food industry, was held for the 13th time on 9 June 2026 in Bogotá, Colombia. Under the Türkiye National Participation Organization coordinated by İHBİR, eight Turkish companies exhibited in the Türkiye pavilion and met food professionals from the regional market. Through the buyer delegation programme organized in parallel with the fair, our participants had the opportunity to hold bilateral business meetings with ten professional buyers in addition to fair visitors.

On the opening day, Muhammet Hartavi, Commercial Counsellor of the Republic of Türkiye in Bogotá, and İHBİR Board Member Erdal Sevinç exchanged views on developing trade between the two countries. After visiting the Turkish companies and presenting their participation certificates, the delegation was received by Beste Pehlivan Sun, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Bogotá, at the embassy. The meeting addressed steps to increase the share of Turkish food products in the Latin American market and explored new avenues for cooperation.
