Major Middle Eastern Supermarket Chains Gathered at the İHBİR Buying Mission

İHBİR organised a comprehensive Buying Mission Programme on 14–15 January 2026 with the aim of boosting exports to the region and increasing the share of Turkish food products on international shelves. Representatives of major supermarket chains—including Mark & Save, Panda and Arabian Specialised Food Co., which rank among the strongest players in the Middle Eastern market—along with representatives of importing firms, met with Turkish exporters during the programme to explore new business collaboration opportunities. The 59 member companies of the İstanbul Exporters’ Association (İHBİR) that participated in the event held in İstanbul took a strategic step towards expanding their commercial networks in the region by conducting a total of 177 bilateral business meetings (B2B) following two days of intensive discussions.
