Ahmet Tiryakioğlu - Chairman of TİM Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds, and Products Sector Board
We gathered together with our 6 Exporters’ Associations, which represent 12,700 members, established a grand platform, and met with all our stakeholders under the roof of a single Association. I will not be modest on behalf of my sector. We represent an industry with an export target of 15 billion dollars and a trading volume of 70 to 80 Billion dollars. We have an industrial infrastructure that will feed not only Türkiye but also the world.
Celal Kadooğlu - Chairman of Southeast Anatolian Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds, and Products Exporters' Association
As an industry that ensures that the food which is the basic need of people can be delivered to large masses, we discharge an important responsibility in the social sense, together with our agricultural producers. For this reason, we believe that, anytime and under any circumstance, united we stand united we are stronger. At the point of the sustainability of production and of fulfilling the needs, we will increase our sectoral cooperation.
Kazım Taycı - Chairman of İstanbul Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds, and Products Exporters' Association
Through its works that it will carry out with the help of Turquality program, our Sector Board will enable us to be more active in the target markets and increase the brand awareness of our sector. We get a share of about 1 percent from global export market of Sugar and Chocolate Products with a size of 350 billion dollars per year, but we believe that there are greater opportunities for Türkiye in this field.
Veysel Memiş - Chairman of Mediterranean Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds, and Products Exporters' Association
We expect to be a country with more abundant production and higher agricultural export in 2024-2025 by supporting agriculture and incenting our farmers. Should our country be able to increase its pulse production, we have a significant market power to process these products in the state-of-the-art facilities and sell to the world.
Nihat Uysallı - Chairman of Central Anatolian Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds, and Products Exporters' Association
I believe that when our leading Associations in the agriculture and food production field in Türkiye stand shoulder to shoulder with each other to contribute to brand power of our country, this will set a model for all sectoral organi-zations. Our Sector Board, which will be engaged in promotional activities through the innovative works, will break many more new grounds in this field.
Muhammet Öztürk - Chairman of Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds, and Products Exporters' Association
With the support of our Ministry of Commerce and the Far Countries Strategy onside, we can overreach up to 8,500 km with our products. Our aim should be to penetrate the countries with high purchasing power through our own brands. We can penetrate new markets by increasing quality and diversity of our products. We can sell more goods by leveraging the marketing power of our entrepreneurs.
Eren Günhan Ulusoy - Chairman of Balck Sea Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds, and Products Exporters' Association
Turkish food industry was agglomerated and found an impor-tant place among our industrial branches. With the synergy, unity and solidarity that we have, we are carrying our sector further. Türkiye is doing well in the food safety exam that the world has been facing for the last three years; the export restriction is not required in the basic product groups such as flour, pasta, bulgur, biscuit etc.
