Saudi Arabia Sectoral Food Delegation successfully completed

Within the scope of the “Saudi Arabia Sectoral Food Delegation” programme organised by the Aegean Exporters' Associations between 20 and 23 April 2025, 18 Turkish companies held bilateral business meetings in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The delegation, which aimed to strengthen the position of Turkish food products in the Gulf market, was led by Muhammet Öztürk, Chairman of the Aegean Grain, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters' Association. The delegation was also accompanied by the Turkish Commercial Counsellor in Riyadh. During the meetings held in Riyadh, Turkish companies had the opportunity to meet with local importers, distributors and chain store representatives to showcase their product portfolios and establish new business connections. The high purchasing power of consumers in the region and the large import volume in the food sector presented significant potential for the companies. Throughout the delegation's programme, there was notable interest in Turkish products, with positive feedback received particularly in the categories of pulses, bakery products, snacks and processed foods.
