The Future of the Sector Discussed at the "Economy Horizon Tour ’26" Summit

Ahmet Tiryakioğlu, Chairman of the TİM Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Sector Board, participated as a speaker at the “Economy Horizon Tour ’26” summit, organised by ekonomim.com to take the pulse of the business world. At the summit, which was attended by Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Treasury and Finance, Tiryakioğlu shared with the public the position of the agriculture and food sector within macroeconomic balances, the structural challenges faced by exporters, and proposed solutions. During the sessions organised as part of the summit, the steps required to safeguard Türkiye’s production capacity and ensure the sustainability of its competitiveness in the global trade arena were discussed at the highest level.
