The Turkish Food Sector Makes Its Mark in Seoul

Seoul Food & Hotel 2026, one of the most important meeting points of the Asian food market, was held from 9 to 12 June 2026 at KINTEX, the Korea International Exhibition Center, in the South Korean capital Seoul. Türkiye Food Exporters (TGİ), which brings the cereals, pulses, oil seeds and products sector together under a shared vision, met global buyers at its stand at the fair. Standing alongside Turkish exporters from the opening day, members of the TİM Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Sector Board and association executives carried out an intensive promotional programme at the Türkiye Food Exporters pavilion on behalf of the sector associations. The delegation of sector representatives visited each Turkish company exhibiting at the event, demonstrating sectoral solidarity and providing institutional support for the promotional activities conducted at the pavilion. Throughout the fair, the tasting sessions held continuously all day in a dedicated area at the TGİ stand became a focal point for trade visitors. Menus carefully prepared from Türkiye's principal export product groups were presented to South Korean and international food professionals in concepts tailored to local palates. These tasting sessions gave fair visitors the opportunity to experience Türkiye's rich, high-quality food products first-hand.
