TIM Syria Desk will be responsible for exports to Syria

Celal Kadooğlu, Chairman of the Southeast Anatolian Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters' Association (GAİB), has been appointed as the Head of the Syria Desk established within the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM). The Syria Desk will act as a bridge for the development of foreign trade between Türkiye and Syria, data collection and the solution of the problems faced by our exporters in the region. Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Trade, Treasury and Finance, Agriculture and Forestry. In addition, the rapporteur unit to be established within the Syria Desk will closely follow the developments in the region and submit the reports it will prepare to the relevant ministries and sector representatives through TİM. In this way, it is aimed to increase the trade volume to Syria and minimise the recent export problems.
