Turkish Food Sector Showed Its Strength at Gulfood 2025

Gulfood 2025, one of the world's largest food fairs, was held at Dubai World Trade Center between 17-21 February. Under the leadership of Ahmet Tiryakioğlu, TIM Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Sector Board took part in the fair with the wide participation of Exporters' Associations in 6 regions. Celal Kadooğlu, Muhammet Öztürk, Kazım Taycı and Veysel Memiş, the Chairmen of the Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters' Associations, met with exporter companies at the stands and listened to the demands of their members.
The Turkish delegation also hosted Dr. Ahmet Bağcı, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Lütfullah Göktaş, Ambassador of Abu Dhabi, Onur Şaylan, Consul General of Dubai, Bünyamin Bozgeyik, Gaziantep MP, and Tayfun Kılıç, Deputy Director General of Export at the Ministry of Trade. Sector Board Chairman Tiryakioğlu and Chairmen of the Associations also took part in tasting events where Türkiye's main export products were introduced, emphasising the strong position of the Turkish food sector in the international market. On the second day of the fair, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ahmet Bağcı and sector representatives came together to discuss the future of the sector, global trade opportunities and export targets.
