Turkish Tastes Brand in USA

With the participation of the Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters' Association, the second edition of the Turkish Tastes book was announced in the USA within the scope of the Turkish Tastes Turquality project carried out by EİB with the support of the Ministry of Trade. The Turkish Tastes book, which is prepared as a textbook for cooperating educational institutions, introduces the sector and products to sector professionals and includes examples of the use of the products for the end consumer. The theme that Turkish products are suitable for use in all cuisines of the world because they are produced in Anatolia, the cradle of Mediterranean-style nutrition, is emphasised. Within the scope of the project, video shootings for 19 different recipes selected from world cuisines have been completed, and the recipes are included in the book in a way that can be viewed by scanning with QR codes.

Muhammet Öztürk, Chairman of the Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters' Association, said: “As is known, our homeland Anatolia is the cradle of civilisation, fertility and culture where agriculture began. We are happy to share the miraculous gifts of nature with the whole world. Thanks to our Turkish Tastes Turquality Project, which we have been carrying out since 2019, we have reached an export volume of 700 million dollars in our sector and we believe that we will continue to increase this every year. I invite each of you to taste the flavours of Turkish cereals, pulses, oilseeds and products exhibited here today.”

On the other hand, within the scope of the same project, within the scope of the Summer Fancy Food 2024 Fair, US Corporate Chefs, purchasing officials, distributors, brokers, representatives of partner institutions, press representatives and foreign diplomats were invited to a reception held at the Turkish House, where the recipes prepared using the distinguished products of our sector were served to the guests.
