İHBİR has organised a comprehensive “E-commerce and E-export Training Programme for Women Entrepreneurs” with the aim of increasing the visibility of women entrepreneurs in global markets and supporting them in bringing their brands to the world via digital platforms. Organised under the coordination of İHBİR, the programme aimed to help women entrepreneurs achieve a stronger and more competitive position on the international stage, whilst offering training across a wide range of topics, from the fundamental dynamics of e-commerce to digital sales infrastructure. Undertaken at a time when production costs are rising and access to traditional markets is being transformed by digitalisation, this initiative provided female exporters with a strategic roadmap for utilising new-generation trade channels.

The training programme brought together leading experts from the public and private sectors, offering participants a wealth of content. Hasan Önal, Director of the Department of E-Export, Digital Marketing, Behavioural Public Policies and New Generation Technologies at the Turkish Ministry of Trade, delivered presentations on the ministry’s e-export policies, whilst academic Dr. Tuğçenur Ekinci Furtuna outlined the theoretical framework of the subject. Gülfem Özdemir from Trendyol, Amazon Specialist Furkan Yıldırım, Emre Korkmaz from UPS Türkiye, and Melike Emiroğlu Kaplan, Project Coordination Manager at TİM WINGS, shared technical details on marketplace collaboration models, logistics operations, customs clearance processes, and entrepreneurship projects. The event, during which participants’ questions were answered, concluded with practical insights designed to help female entrepreneurs play a more active role in the digital export ecosystem.
